Hours of Work: 36 hours per week 3 day shifts, 3 days off and 3 night shifts (12 hour shifts)

Job Title: Medical Secretary

Job Description: Our client, within the NHS, requires an experienced secretary to work on a temporary contract. Candidate is expected to be a flexible individual who can multi-task & be flexible in regards to working hours if necessary (although this is rare). They must at all times maintain a courteous, cheerful & polite manner. A smart well dressed appearance is required.

Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: Hebburn
Job Description: My client is looking for a temporary Safety Officer to work on their latest Engineering contract on behalf of the MOD.
The contract should run for approx 3-6 months and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the the production teams awareness of the potential for unplanned losses of people, time, reputation and equipment, whether belonging to the client or others.
The Safety Officer will assist, where necessary, with the identification and assessment of the means of avoiding such losses. Where unplanned losses have occured, the candidate will advise and assist in mitigating their effect.
Main Duties:
Monitor conformance with Heatlh & Safety regulations & the clients codes of practice. Report and record safety performance To investigate, report and recommend action on accidents, near misses and non-conformances.
*To carry out, and assist others with, risk assesments and safe systems of work. *To provide advice on Health & Safety matters to line management. *To supervise the operation of the medical centre. *To provide training and information to all employees, subcontractors and clients, via induction *To assist line management in dealing with emergencies on ships and elsewhere. *To write safety policies, codes of practice, ships safety plans in the absence of (or at the request of) the Health & Safety Manager.
You must have experience in all of the above duties and have releavnt qualifications or work based training to be considered for this role.
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
